We wanted to thank all of you for the wonderful work you do and to give you an update on the on-going love story in our house. Buckie has been with us for nearly three months now and what a wonderful three months it's been! Buckie has really blossomed in the last month. He is so well mannered, funny and extremely affectionate and loving. He loves going to the dog park every weekend and taking naps in the sun. He has enriched our lives and makes us laugh.  Bambi is having surgery on her left hip for the Leggs-Perth Disease and also her luxating patella. Our vet has to call in an orthopedic surgeon to do the surgery. That cost alone will be close to $2,000 which doesn't include anything but the surgeon. Then the cost of all the rest of the surgery and equipment and medications being used. This is the first of her two surgeries for her deformed legs. Please keep her in your thoughts! Read more on the sweet Bamboozler here. |
