Dear PugPros, I can't believe a year has gone by since we adopted Sweet Pea (March 07). It has been a wonderful year and Sweet Pea is a perfect addition to our family. She is just the most perfect Pug and even my husband would agree. She comes with us everywhere, beach, parks, Yosemite to San Diego. She sleeps right in the middle of our bed each night and we wouldn't want it any other way. My daughter brought her to school for show and tell and all the kids loved her. People all over have asked me where I got Sweet Pea and can't believe such a nice looking dog like her was from a rescue. I always tell them there are many wonderful Pugs at PugPros that need a good home. She really has enriched our lives and always makes us laugh. Sweet Pea's favorite day is run, play & fun at Mill Valley dog park and then a good warm nap in the sun by her favorite spot by the window. The kids LOVE her and we are so thankful for finding her, plus having Pug Pros letting us be apart of her world.  Bambi is having surgery on her left hip for the Leggs-Perth Disease and also her luxating patella. Our vet has to call in an orthopedic surgeon to do the surgery. That cost alone will be close to $2,000 which doesn't include anything but the surgeon. Then the cost of all the rest of the surgery and equipment and medications being used. This is the first of her two surgeries for her deformed legs. Please keep her in your thoughts! Read more on the sweet Bamboozler here. |
