We love Jimmy so much. He has become part of the family. He is doing really good. We are very proud of him. At first when we had company, he would go outside, now he will stay in the same room. He doesn't go to anyone, but he doesn't leave either. That is a huge improvement. He does so many things now. He has gotten protective of his house and he barks and howls when someone comes in. It is very cute. One day Missy and I were in the front yard watering. When we came in the house I noticed Jimmy had been in the window watching us. I felt so bad like I was being mean to him. I apologized to him and told him that would never happen again (I know he didn't understand), but now the 3 of us go in the front yard and he stays in the yard, he doesn't run. I feel very good about that. He comes to me sometimes. Me more than my husband. I spend more time with them and I feed them. We go for walks almost every night. Jimmy is very happy when he is on a walk. That is definitly his favorite thing to do. When I come home from work he comes to me very excited to see me. He has really come along. You are welcome to come and see him sometime, if you would like. I hope in another couple months he will be like a regular dog. He is a good eater. I have to pick up any food Missy doesn't eat because Jimmy will eat it and he has gained a couple pounds. I am being very careful about his intake now. Missy picks on him some and he just takes it. I am on Missy alot to leave him alone. He understands that and appreciates it. He looks at me with those big eyes like thank you. He does play with her alot. They do really good, there has never been an angry moment between them. Jimmy just jumped on my lap right now as I typing this to get away from Missy. She has become quite the brat. He is actually very protective of Missy on the walks. On 3 separate occassions a small barking dog has come up to Missy and Jimmy gets in the middle of them. The first time we thought we just imagined it, but the next two times we know he is protecting her. Other than that, he still does not want contact with other dogs. We are very happy with him and he is very happy. We love Jimmy and he loves us.
