Colin and I wanted to thank you again for your help with our adoption of Maurice (pictured on the left of the attached pic). Although we adopted him only 2 weeks ago, Maurice has adapted very quickly to not only his new surroundings, but also his new family members. He always wakes up happy and with tail wagging - it's a nice way to start the day! In addition, Maurice and Watson are definitely progressing each day with being able to trust each other. Watson has stopped looking at Colin and I as if to say "who is this kid, and when is he going home?". Maurice is quite puppy-like for a 4-year old, and he has succeeded in getting Watson (3-years) re-energized and excited over a never ending game of rope tug-a-war. In addition to lots of indoor play, Maurice gets several long walks each day and his diet is now very carefully monitored. His waist is already looking more defined and we hope to have him at a healthy weight in a few months. Maurice is a happy and sweet little man who loves to be outside walking with us, and we are so thrilled that things have worked out so well. One thing I wanted to ask about is getting a copy of Maurice's shot records, microchip info, and any other veterinary records he may have. We would like to get him established as a patient with our veterinarian, and also have our vet take a look at Maurice's teeth. In addition to needing a good professional cleaning, I think Maurice may need to have some teeth pulled due to overcrowding. He has a hard time chewing treats that Watson tears through, so I'm wondering if some dental work is in order. Any help with obtaining copies of Maurice's vet records would be greatly appreciated. Thank you again for all of your help through the adoption process. We feel very lucky to have been introduced to Maurice, and we are incredibly thankful for your time, energy, and kindness to make sure that Maurice and other innocent dogs find safe and loving forever homes.
Take Care, Lica, Colin, Watson, and Maurice
