I just wanted to let you know that Amigo is doing well in Sacramento. The attached photo was taken after an hour at the dog park that is in our condo complex. He is such a charming fellow and he's made quite a few friends here. In fact, there is a cute "older lady", a blind manchester terrier, that has taken quite a fancy to Amigo. The play, circle around each other, nipping at ears. It is so cute. Amigo loves his monthly grooming at Petco. My daughter considers him a "metrosexual" guy that enjoys the shampoo and conditioning treatments, the smell-good stuff that makes him strut out of the shop and thru the parking lot. He really is a kick. He spent a week in Fresno with my two daughters while I traveled to Washington DC. They discovered that he likes to settle down in the evening with the lights off, candles lit, and his bed next to the TV (this is really true). He does it at home, too. He was happy to be with them for the week and they missed him very much after he left. His hip still gives him problems but I found a wonderful vet at Abel Pet Clinic where he has been seen to get refills on his anti-inflammatory meds. The clinic was listed on the rescue site and I will highly recommend them to any pug owners. I am so fortunate to have adopted him. Thanks! Penny Renaud
