A huge thank you to PROS for your help with getting a fabulous pug. You guys really listened to what we were looking for and helped us find a perfect fit. Kirby (nee Ronnie) is such a sweetie and he's fit into our household with our other pets with surprising ease. Having adopted from another rescue center, I was amazed at the difference getting a dog from a foster environment. He was so much more relaxed, even though a puppy.  Bambi is having surgery on her left hip for the Leggs-Perth Disease and also her luxating patella. Our vet has to call in an orthopedic surgeon to do the surgery. That cost alone will be close to $2,000 which doesn't include anything but the surgeon. Then the cost of all the rest of the surgery and equipment and medications being used. This is the first of her two surgeries for her deformed legs. Please keep her in your thoughts! Read more on the sweet Bamboozler here. |
