Everything is going great. I'm not allergic to Zinn. All I had was a coincidental head cold combined with the terror of making a huge commitment to sharing my life and my bed with a little stranger. Every day we are less strange to one another. Her personality is revealing itself -- she's got a real stubborn streak. I was determined that she could sleep on my bed, but not under the covers and not right up in my face. Forgetaboutit. She just bulldozes her way under, then plasters herself right up against me, and that's that. Zinn doesn't hear well I don't think; she doesn't bark when someone comes to the door. Then when the visitor actually enters, she still doesn't bark, but she's very warm and cordial to all visitors. She just loves attention from any and everyone who will bestow it on her. She's a good eater, but not crazed and obsessive about food (like my previous pug, Bubba). She's just sweetness itself. We enjoy our daily walks and car rides, and we are preparing to take our first long car trip together to L.A. and Las Vegas over the Christmas holiday to visit friends. I'm attaching a couple of cute pictures of her -- one is taken on the cushion that is next to my desk, which is where she likes to lie when I'm at my computer, and the other where she's draped across the back of the sofa (she likes to be high up where she can observe the whole room). You are responsible for all this wonderfulness. I probably wouldn't have pursued the project if you hadn't encouraged and supported me so well. Thank you and Merry Christmas, Kathy and Zinn
