Sammie was adopted by Carolyn & Al Lacy

The first thing [our 4 grandchildren] say when they come to our house is "Where is Sammie?" Our lab, Leo, still misses his old chum, Megan, but is beginning to warm up to Sammie. They sleep together, eat together and lounge on the sofa together.

Sometimes I take Sammie with me to pick up Noelle from Kindergarden. She loves to ride in the car. Everybody in Kindergarden gravitates to her and she is so gentle with the little ones. We are so happy to have her in our lives. Turns out there is another pug, "Lois Lane", who lives in our neighborhood. Now that the weather is nice, I plan to take Sammie over and introduce ourselves.

And guess what? She likes all the same TV shows I like (Dancing with the Stars, Amazing Race, Survivor....). It is such fun to cuddle with her and consult with her about what is going on in the shows.

Thanks again for taking such good care of her for us. Can't imagine life without her now.

Bambi Needs Your Help!
Bambi is having surgery on her left hip for the Leggs-Perth Disease and also her luxating patella. Our vet has to call in an orthopedic surgeon to do the surgery. That cost alone will be close to $2,000 which doesn't include anything but the surgeon. Then the cost of all the rest of the surgery and equipment and medications being used.
