Hi everyone, my name is Bruce and I have so much love to share! I used to be called Bruiser, but that butch name just didn't match my love bug personality so I changed my name to Bruce. I'm not sure where I am from (probably a back yard breeder, those guys, they just don't get what true love is all about) but I can sure tell you where I am going. I am going to a forever home where I can give my human a whole lotta pug to love. I am looking for a human who is kind, gentle, likes to cuddle and doesn't mind a few wrinkles, 'cause ahem, I've got myself a couple of wrinkles if you know what I mean. If you are that human looking for long term love than please know that I am a gentle boy who loves to cuddle, take walks in the park, snooze on the sofa, and enjoy a few snacks.
Bruce is a six year old, neutered, micro-chipped male pug who is up-to date on vaccinations, house-broken and negative for heartworm. Please don't apply to adopt Bruce if you are too hung up on superficial Hollywood type beauty as Bruce is more of a character actor, with a few wrinkles, a pot belly and a grateful heart. Bruce's foster mom says that he is the most adorable, squeezable type of pug possible, and that he is a perfect pug with just the right amount of wrinkles and girth. Whoever adopts Bruce the Boss Pug is a very lucky human.

My name is Boris! I am a 5 1/2 yr. old black neutered male pug. I was found tied to a pole at a shelter, I was in horrible condition. You can probably imagine where I came from; someone who didn't want me, didn't have the patience to train me, and then threw me away. I am very affectionate with people, I love to cuddle with my human and sleep with you. I snore like nobodies business. I like to go on walks and I enjoy riding in a car. I know a few commands, like sit and stay. I am very smart so with attention to training I will learn alot more. I am house-trained, and I am a major kisser. I enjoy playing with my toys and I love chasing my ball. I have a tiny bit of separation anxiety gosh I wonder why may have something to do with being tied to a pole, you think.
I have some aggression issues with other dogs, I would need to go to a home with experienced dog owners who would work with me on this issue. I am making progress but now I need continued consistent training. With this corrected I will be the perfect pug that you dream about.
I am in good health, I am current on my vaccinations, I am micro chipped, and I am heart worm negative. It was not my fault that humans in the first place did not have the experience to train me. Please consider me, I am trainable, and I know you will not be disappointed in me.

Mochi

Hi, my name is Mochi! I am a 14 week old black female pug. I was surrendered to PROS after I was dumped in a shelter. I have an under bite and eight of my little white teeth show, my foster mom says that I am absolutely adorable. I believe that is why I was dumped at a shelter, I was not perfect like my other siblings in the litter. I am active and very smart. I already know how to sit when asked. I am gentle at taking a treat, and I stay when I am told to stay. I am a puppy so for the biggest part of my day I am full of mischief, I like to play with my foster pug mates but they soon tire of me. You see I like to really play and play and play, they just don't get it I am a puppy that's what puppies do. I guess they forgot that they were puppies once. When night time comes I love to snuggle in the crook of your neck, I am a little love buttons and I will only kiss you if you ask for a kiss. I am being house-trained and doing really good, I know how to use a dogie door and I truly enjoy treats.

Mochi is not available for adoption yet, she has to be spayed still and finish her puppy shots. Watch for Mochi to become available, who ever dumped her, had no idea the treasure they were throwing away. Their loss, your gain; thank goodness for Mochi!!!

Hi, my name is Daphne. I am a 9 yr old female fawn pug. I was found as a stray and never claimed. I was fortunately surrendered to PROS. I went to live with my wonderful foster dad. He could tell I had been severely neglected and he immediately took me to a Vet. I was diagnosed with severe ear infections, a uterine infection and what appeared to be kennel cough. The cough was a disguise for being heart worm positive. I have had to undergo severe heart worm treatments. I will possibly be undergoing a hysterectomy once my other medical treatments are done to clear my uterine infection.

I have some slight hearing and sight loss. Neither of these conditions hinder me in any way, I am learning to adapt to these small nuisances. On the up side, my foster dad says that I am an adorable senior gal. That I am sweet, kind, loving and sensitive. I am good with other dogs, cats and children. I enjoy riding in the car and going for walks, and that I am very social and enjoy human attention. I am fairly energetic for a senior. I am house-trained, micro-chipped and current on all of my vaccinations.

My name is Phoenix and I am a 14 week old fawn male pug puppy. I was rushed to a veterinarian after I was run over by a truck! My pelvis was shattered and I could not get myself up on my hind legs. My family was forced to surrender me since they could not afford my treatment. I was surrendered to PROS who took me immediately to their vets where I had extensive surgery: a metal plate put on the right side of my hip joint and a screw on the left side. The ball of my femur bone was broken off! I went through surgery like a little trooper. I was neutered and got shots and microchipped once I recovered from surgery. I should be in a single level home unless my new family is willing to carry me up and down stairs.

PROS is asking for any help that can be given with donations and or contributions towards Phoenix's surgery and road too recovery.

Hi! My name is Angelina Ballerina (Angie for short). The ballerina part comes from my habit of doing a little dance when I see my human. Wouldn't you like to be my human? Too much dancing, along with some arthritis, has caused my hind end to be a little weak. I was found as a stray, but at some point I was loved since I am very fond of people. I am 7-8 years old, housebroken and learned how to use a doggy door after being shown just a couple of times. I'm a bit embarrassed about my waistline, which I have allowed to expand a bit...so will have to lay off the snacks for awhile. I also could use some beauty cream on my nose, as you can see in the photo, has gotten a little dry. Otherwise I am all caught up on my shots, am spayed and ready for you to adopt me. I will promise to be your shadow and give you tons of love.

I am a little bashful when I first meet someone, but warm up pretty soon, and once I decide you will be nice to me, my favorite thing in the world is to snuggle with you! I am Bumper a 13 yr. old black neutered male pug! I was re-surrendered to PROS just recently when my Mother became ill and could no longer care for me. I was previously a PROS Pug and I was adopted out 10 yrs ago when I was only three. I have lived 10 wonderful loving years with my Mom, and she loved me so much. I am gonna miss her so much.
I am a friendly and sweet old man. I like to sleep alot and food is good also, that is why I need to lose a little weight. I am a real snuggler, and I am told quite the comedian. I am house-trained so no incontinent problems for me. For my age I am in fairly good health. I am current on my shots and I am now going to live with my new foster family in my new retirement home.

Hi, my name is Sasha! You are not gonna believe how young I really am. I am an 11 yr. old spayed fawn female pug. My owner had to move and surrendered me to PROS because she was unable to take me with her. I definitely do not act like an old lady, I am playful and silly, I love going on walks, I get along good with other dogs and children. I am a snuggle bun, so when you are lounging on the couch or it is time for bed I really like to be snuggling right up against you. I love my humans, so much that I do tend to get a little upset when my human leaves my sight for any amount of time. I let out a very audible holler. My health for a senior is very good, I have a nice healthy appetite and I am house trained, I tend to do a little back leg dance when I need to go outside. My house training is being re-enforced by my foster family; my family was not able to keep me on a regular routine prior to being surrendered.
I am current on my vaccinations, I am micro-chipped and I am scheduled to have my teeth cleaned here soon.
Watch for Sasha to become available for adoption once her medical clears. You will not be disappointed how young this sweet little dolly acts and how much joy, love and happiness she will bring to her new forever family. As her foster mom says: "Someone forgot to tell Sasha she was a senior."

Bear was adopted by Cliff and Debbie Geyer. Bear is their third PROS pug!

The Bear joined us April 24th. He's an absolute delight. Bear and Sammi are getting along fine. Bear has found his own special places in the house and has filled our home with his energy and his special personality. Our home is now his home.

Hi, my name is Mocha. I am a 9 yr. old spayed fawn female pug. I was surrendered to a shelter when my family had to move and couldn't take me with them, I was going to be put down. Fortunately the shelter contacted PROS who came right over and took me home to a special foster family.
As you can tell by my age I am a senior gal, I am as sweet as they come and I am a constant shadow to my human. I have some arthritis in my back legs and knees which prevents me from jumping up on furniture or a bed to snuggle with you, but if you sit down beside me I will gladly let you rub my tummy and scratch my ears. I truly like this type of pampering. I have some slight loss of vision in my right eye due to age, but it does not hinder me at all, I have no problem exploring my new foster home and yard with my other foster brothers and sisters. I get along great with other dogs, I enjoy following them around, I ride excellent in the car and I am building up my stamina for my walks. You see I am a little over weight, which makes it even harder on my arthritic bones, so I could not walk very far at first. I could only go one house away, then my foster family had to carry me back. I am slower at walking than the other dogs so I get extra quality time with my foster family when we take our walks; that works for me. I will perform a special little dance for you when I want attention.
Mocha is current on her vaccinations, she is micro-chipped and she is heart worm negative. Mocha will be available for adoption once her medical clears. Please watch for her to become available and please give a senior a second chance at love and companionship, they will return your love by being the best companion you have ever had.

Hi, my name is Jarred! I am a 3 yr. old neutered fawn male pug. My birthday is November 2008. My owners surrendered me to PROS because they could no longer take care of me. I am nervous and shy when I first meet new people and will back away, however it doesn't take me long to warm up to you. I tend to be a little more attached to women than men. I am a very calm, low key little man. I do bond quickly to my human and once that is done I am a constant shadow. I am a handsome little man with a sweet gentle temperament, that enjoys human attention and preferably a quieter atmosphere. I prefer human company but I play good with other dogs and I have very nice social skills. I like to go for walks, I am a little nervous when in a car, but frequent rides will make me more comfortable when riding. I am house trained and I have a minor collapsing larynx which will not or should not have any impact on me living a long and fun filled pug life.
I am current on my vaccinations, I am micro-chipped and I am heart worm negative. I just had surgery on my nares and palate, I am healing nicely.
Jarred will be available for adoption once his medical clears. This little man will make a wonderful family addition and companion for a very special and lucky family.
