Happy Endings - Thelma and Louise
We have a very special place in our hearts for PROS and are so
grateful that they chose us to become Thelma and Louise's parents.
They are WONDERFUL (and at the beauty shop as we speak!:)
Louise is seeing an opthamologist regularly as she has underactive
tear ducts and has formed some pigmentation as a result. She is
on medication to activate the tears ducts (and it is very successful)
and another medication that seems to be lessening the pigment so
her vision seems to be improving. Thelma,well...is Thelma. She was
very skiddish when we got her, but she has improved quite a bit.
Still doesn't like loud noises, but is such a love. Thelma and Louise
have a "half-sister", Daisy. Daisy is our 13 year old
calico kitty. They all get along marvelously...and all share our
king-size bed. It's a little snug, but we make due.
It's hard to believe it's been 3 years. The Wollert's were their
foster family when we adopted them...they were so wonderful! We
are so fortunate that PROS allowed us to adopt since we are out
of your area...THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
I'm sorry it has taken us so long to get a donation to you and
that it couldn't be more. Priness Paloma and Blossom's story hit
a soft spot with us. I don't know what it is about pugs, but they
are the most gracious and loving animal. They don't ask for anything,
but give so much!
Gena, thank you so much for your email! And we have your site bookmarked!:)
