Happy Endings - Archie and Normand

PROS loves to hear how about successful placements of our pugs and how they are doing in their new families. Thanks for sharing your stories! The photos above are of Archie and Normand on the left and Archie on the right.

Hi Pug Pros,

Just wanted to let you know that Archie and Normand are doing GREAT! Here's a brief bio of our boys.

In the summer of 2001 we adopted Archie from PROS. He is a delightful boy and he makes us laugh every day. We're not sure how old he is - perhaps 11 or so, but he acts like a puppy. We call him the "Baby Pug", or "Baby P" for short. He LOVES to chase his tail and play with his stuffed toys (a pink squeaker pig and a green sea turtle which he often uses as a pillow). He also loves to sleep on the couch and give snarffley kisses. Shortly after
rescuing him we had to have his left eye removed due years of neglect and a tear to the cornea, but as a result he is much more comfortable and active than he was during his first few months with us. We are looking forward to
many more years with Archie!

Our fist rescue pug from Pug Rescue by the Bay, Normand, is now 13. He is still quite healthy and has the appetite of a large horse (his figure shows it). We do our best to keep him from overeating, but he loves to steel Archie's food whenever a back is turned. He never forgets to bark his head off around meal time. He licks our feet (or any exposed skin) incessantly, which is gross but endearing. His nick-names are "Sausage Pug" and "Normando de la Pug". He rules the roost, and is still the love of our lives (a title now shared with Archie). We swear he can tell time too (his belly knows). His days revolve around his naps and meals, and he wouldn't want it any other way. We still have contact with his original family who loved him very much, but had to give him up due to having a child with
severe allergies. Normand has been with us for five years, and hopefully we'll share a few more!

Thought you might like a couple of pictures of both of these happy endings!
